San Isidro Fiesta

The afternoon of May 14, 2006 saw the opening events of the 2006 San Isidro Festa (known to the outside world as Fiesta.)

The Parade of Finalists took place first.

That evening, town officials gathered at the home of Barangay Captain Crescenio Ong on Pasil Street. In the left photo, the Hon. Marcelo Onate, Mayor; in the right photo, Vice Mayor Harvey Pinon.

Later in the evening, the Princess is Crowned by the Honorable Marcelo C. Onate, Mayor of Palompon.

Other evenings in this three day celebration included dancing and a rather unusual fashion show.

The traditional meal for a holiday, as prepared by a group of households for May 15, 2006.
